So I am ahead this month - Feels good! My April piece is purple and yellow and includes Swarovski Crystal Sequins - I think they are new and not many stores have them yet, but I love them!!!! It is the crystal I've been looking for. I have found some at WhimBeads.com and BeadsGoneWildStore.com. If anyone finds them someplace else, please let me know. I put in three paisleys, but they don't show up as well as I'd like - oh well. And I've added a shiska mirror which was definitely not as easy to attach as I would have thought. I have one set of instructions, but now I find on the net that there are other stitches to attach these. Something I will need to keep practicing. So, check out
my April piece.

I have to tell you I absolutely LOVE these little 'rhinestones'. I first found them several years ago by accident while shopping in a Hobby Lobby where there was a little package on the clearance rack. Since then I have searched and searched and finally found them in a wide range of colors and sizes at Fusion Beads. I have used them in several projects. I have seen them called sew-ons, rhinestones and lochrosen. I have also seen them numbered 3112 or 3128.
Hi Karen - I love your piece! I love the elephant and the colors - it's just wonderful!
Thanks for sharing - Cindy

Love your elephant! Wish I could see more detail of the elephant... it looks like thread embroidery, except the yellow... Might you be willing to post a detail picture here on the BJP blog for us to see??? That would be so fab! Love the way you surrounded your beast with flowers and opulence and a mirror so you could see yourself in such good company! Wonderful piece!!!! Robin A.
What a rich, lush piece! I love the colors--and everything else. It's nice to be able to look at all your pieces together.

Wow. I have somehow missed all of your pages. They are spectacular. You certainly are not afraid of detail. Really, really nice.
